The 3rd annual Photo Shootout at Island Lake Lodge Catskiing is an exciting opportunity for up and coming pro photographers, skiers and boarders to break into the scene during a 3-day contest (March 29-31, 2010).
The dramatic Lizard Range of the BC Rocky Mountains and plentiful March snow make Island Lake the ultimate location for an event like this. Last year's event was a great success with over 300 people attending the awards party.
Six photographers will be given the opportunity to hand-pick three athletes to shoot over 3-days. After three full days of shooting, a panel of industry judges will decide on the best photographs from the event. Judging categories will include: best portfolio; best air; best composition; most unique image; and best lifestyle image. The category winners will be announced at the slide show and party on Wednesday, March 31. Over $10,000 in prizes will be given out during the event.
