The final weekend of the 2009/10 ski season at Panorama Mountain Village is April 10th and 11th. This weekend is going to be about family fun!
Musical entertainer Steve Smith, from the band Maritime Kitchen Party, will be at the mountain playing from 1-4pm on the Great Hall deck. The Nova Scotian singer/guitarist plays a mix of music from Celtic fisherman songs to fun, upbeat pop music.
To cap off the ski season is Slush Cup is sure to make a splash on Sunday afternoon. The high demand for the return of the Slush Cup and the open ear of the new ownership team has brought back one of the most entertaining highlights of Spring. Totally hilarious, the activity is as much fun for spectators as it is for the participants. Watch for people really get into the event by dressing up in wacky outfits and either skimming their way across or splashing down somewhere in the middle of the man-made pond!
April 5th Update: Panorama Mountain Village welcomes local residents to come up to the mountain and ski for FREE on the 2009/2010 winter season's closing day. On Sunday, April 11th, residents from Cranbrook to Spillimacheen just need to present a valid driver's license, student car or hydro bill with their address at the Guest Service desk in order to receive their lift pass for the day.
