The 2nd Annual 'Fernival' spring event at the Fernie Alpine Resort will be a celebration of snow and a tribute to a fantastic ski season!
Featuring live music, the Resort will showcase the amazing talents of fiddling sensation, Ashley MacIsaac in the Cape Breton Traditional Duo at Fernival 2010, taking place on Saturday, April 17th (4pm - 5:15pm) as part of the bonus weekend celebrations!
Ashley's unique musical styling was featured at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games ceremonies and the Resort is proud to carry the torch for Canadian culture by making him the star to the Fernival festivities. Along with the opening band, Sweet Potato (2pm - 3:30pm) from Calgary, this weekend is sure to be a spectacular send-off to yet another amazing ski season in Fernie.
